This izakaya focuses mainly on kushikatsu but we didn't order them. We wanted something more filling and opted for rice/noodle dishes.Uni udon - super creamy. Can't really taste the uni. Nice big pieces of crab.Crab bibimbap - not enough flavor. Just a bit of sauce right at the bottom. The carb dishes are priced well at $14.80Sudako - cooked octopus with cucumber and yuzu jello. Such a small dish for $8.80.The instgrammable watermelon and pineapple drinks were not worth at all. There was barely any pineapple and watermelon flavor that was mixed with a lot of club soda. The watermelon had more drink solely because the size of a watermelon is bigger than a pineapple. Both come with 2 slices grapfruits/orange/lime. However, the watermelon also comes with pieces of watermelon meat inside and extra pieces of pinepple. The pinepple drink doesnt come with extra pieces. For $15 that is not a good drink.

A great place if you love deep fried skewers and want to try out some cool and unique dishes - Japanese or fusion.Kushi or skewer is the main character in this place. My personal fave:- lamb chop, onion pork, foie gras and wagyu menchi (minced beef patty)- scallop, duck, chicken- lotus, eggplant, asparagusTheir fruit tea is also good! The place is small, make sure to book ahead of time. Plenty of free street parking.Big group def book ahead, they can maybe accommodate 10-12 max.

Excellent place for a famous japanese yakitori place. Love the watermelon cocktail drinks. Tables are abit tight and small and price is on high side. I love the atmosphere and staffs. Highly recommended.

This is our first time here, I felt so happy to have dinner here with my family. The waitress she was so kind and sweet! We ordered assorted of skewers, sashimi and steak rice, so tasty. Especially like something happened during our dinner but they solved the problem really quick and let us feel that was not a big deal. Anyway nice to try this time and will be back someday.

Parking in the area is suspect, but it's a nice place for snacks and light beers after work. Trendy izakaya atmosphere, and there's a selection of unique cocktails.

Food is awesome. Staffs are energetic. Will come back. I love the yuzu edamame and the fried onsen egg on the shabu shabu salad. The DIY filet streak is also very good

Fun dining experience. Fried chicken was great and rice cake sizzling bowl was awesome. Shrimp was the best kushikatsu followed by wagyu. Lamb is also fun. The deserts were really good
